Wouldn?t be hugely surprised but would be very disappointed if Alves is promoted to head coach. It wouldn?t make sense to me either. If the bro?s wanted the cheap option, surely just sticking with Maynard would have been the way, with Alves stepping up if Maynard sacked during next season. There are 2 or 3 great fits in the betting odds (Buckingham for me) but I think we may see someone from abroad this time around.

After looking at that Wikidepia entry, I can spot a connection that might explain him being in the betting. He played in the Danish Superliga in 2021/2.
