Much like our disallowed goal last week, Man City get a goal disallowed due to an unlucky touch to the arm to “set up” a goal. Guarantee we hear way more griping about it because it happened to Man City this week.

Because this has happened to the current champions and one of the elite then it will be talked about for ages. As we have both posted, i just want to see the same happen when it hits a player and a penalty is awarded, if not then it makes a mockery of handball in the area.
With the benefit of VAR surely there is the opportunity to assess whether there was intent to handle the ball, therefore the law should change to only intentional being a foul.
In the meantime the law needs to be applied with consistency as you say.
There was an incident in the first half of the Sheffield United v Palace game. The ball hit the elbow of Palace's Joel Ward, there was nothing given after a VAR check. Rightly or wrongly, it's not consistent, so far it seems it's only called handball when a goal is scored and then disallowed after the VAR check.
Sheffield United lead 1-0, Lundstram with the finish. They really should have scored earlier through McGoldrick, in fairness though the Palace keeper did well.
Blades much better than I thought coming in. I had them pegged for relegation. 4 points in two matches a great start for them.
A good finish from Wesley to give Villa the lead against Everton, 1-0.
Good entertaining first half anyway. Villa offered nothing until they scored, I Think if Everton would have scored prior to that Villa would have been in for a drubbing. Any ones game now.
An early goal for Tammy Abraham and Chelsea at Norwich, he took his chance well.
A good Norwich move finished off by Cantwell, 1-1.
Mason Mount makes it 2-1 Chelsea, left three defenders standing when he cut back in side and got his shot away.
