I honestly can’t believe folk swallow this nonsense about the facilities.
You think the current experiences are ideal?
Constant moving between facilities, scrambling about trying to find options and impacting sessions.
The likes of Hearts at the Oriam are already miles ahead of us and once their stand is complete, they'll potentially start to compete financially with us.
The attraction of Edinburgh and their training facilities will make it a far more attractive position than coming to Aberdeen.
"Short sightedness" **** off XD you are the one that's happy to go along with a plan (the second one) Milne has hatched but has no idea how to pay for it. The Milne that in 20yrs hasn't bothered building training facilities, despite being one of the richest men in Scotland, the chairman of a one club city and the chairman behind letting pittodrie become "unsafe".
I'm sure we will be able to pay for the likes of Kenny McLean when we are £50m in debt. Milne was always happy to pay extra wages back before being bailed out, wasn't he?
Players will only think of two things before signing for us. Firstly, the money will have to be right. The second one will be whether or not they can be @rsed living in Aberdeen. That’s it. The shyte about the facilities attracting a better player, bringing through better players, better coaching sessions etc etc is all waffle. If they were as important as they’re being made out, we would have them already.
The best option would be to put down an all weather surface at Pittodrie.
Yes for now.
However they definitely have a better chance going forward.
Your forgetting we are where we are because of McInness and Docherty.
If and when they leave (only likely to be earlier with fans and councils wanting to hold the club back) we will be less likely to attract the players we have done in the last few years.
You guys are being deluded and if you get your way, remember who was fighting to progress forward and who wanted to hold the club back.
