Can they not job share then, seems to be all the rage with other employers?

If they job share, we still need one more then? 😉
If we want to take this league and win it from the front we're gonna need a bigger boat. Clark at 10 and Sow up front is not going to do it.
Not too sure on Clark, he's a clinical finisher but can be missing for large parts of games and doesn't have any pace so not overly enthusiastic about him leading our attack if I'm being honest.
Hard to judge Sow, his lackadaisical demeanour puts a lot of folk off no doubt about it but I honestly think that a good preseason will do him (and Pawlett) a world of good. Remember that Sow came to us and had hardly played previously at MK Dons due to injury.
Give it time.
As offshore and I have been saying, Clark is not a 10 he's a poacher, no good as a 1 up front on his own chasing long balls. We need creativity from midfield and the flanks.
We've not been playing to the strengths of Safranko or Clark. Sow, just me, but I'm not seeing it, if we have to rely on him to fire us to promotion I doubt it based on what I've seen so far. Maybe he'll be a different player next season but what if it's more of the same...
Im sure Clark himself mentioned when he arrived that he could play the no 10 role, but i dont thing there was much evidence of that last season. But saying that he is a poacher is being a bit unfair as there is plenty more to his game than tap ins from the 6 yard box, but he can also be one of the worst at letting the game pass him by. I do though think we were robbed of the real Clark because of injury last season and he is one i want to see after a good pre-season.
As to Sow, if rumours regarding the pay packet he takes home are true, then he will have to start hitting the net PDQ or we have a new whipping boy. So far he has arrived injured, eventually properly broke doon then took an age to eventually score. Might come good after pre-season, but i have my doubts and expect he may move on come January after Clark, Shankland and Safranko keep him out the team.
Sow continually dropped deep to receive the ball. when a striker drops deep he fills the space that the midfield should use with opposition defenders.....
Is this a result of our defense not pushing out quick enough in a controlled manner or our midfield being shy an either panicking or wishing the ball goes over their heads every opportunity?
I know what I have watched..
Sow getting the ball deep and holding play until something happens around him.
Our other plays have been fire it up and see what happens.
Sow might not be husain bolt, but he is WAY cleverer than a lot of people give him credit for.
He may drop deep as u say, but he then doesn't bother his lazy arse getting into the position that we pay him to be in. At the end of the day, he's paid to score goals and he didn't look like he could score in a brothel last season.
Lets not forget the possibility of the youngsters getting a chance too, Mochrie, Glass etc
