'Has the pound ever been lower?' he asks in some sort of half arsed justification of the fact that the pound plummeted following Brexit and has struggled ever since. Of course, historically, there have been times when the pound has been lower but that is entirely irrelevant to what has happened since June 2016 which, although it may have benefited some exporters, has directly led to more expensive imports - including crucially food - holidays etc and a generally lower standard of living for the majority.
Face up to it Andy, we're in a mess. Our government hasn't a clue...bitching, completely counterproductive elections and pointless cabinet reshuffles have become the order of the day. Farage, Johnson, Gove and company lied to exploit the nationalistic tendencies of a proportion of the population...they've been rumbled and, just like Tricky...their lies and half truths are, hopefully, about to find them out.

I'm not mista...I think Swale is doubting Tricky's claim and suggesting that he may well be not as 'far up' his profession as he makes out.
That, imo, is entirely different from insulting the position of prison officer.
Swales' views on Tricky's alleged xenophobia or holiday habits are exactly that...Swales' view. I don't know enough about either to comment, but I do know that yesterday Tricky tried to make a point about the average cost of holidays - in relation to the falling strength of the pound and it's impact on ordinary people - and then promptly gave himself away as being deliberately misleading. He also has an increasingly irritating habit of deliberately misinterpreting the points made by others in order to further his agenda.

Frankly Anag I wouldn't believe a word Tricky says at a guess I'd say he was a menial warder in HM prison service, doubt he has either the wit or the skill t do what he says he is.

Look at it like this. If a car maker makes it difficult for you to view/test/ own a car, what would you do?
Well in my opinion, I'd bugger off where it is easier.

Again I will say it. Why has a free trade agreement, become a political minefield? If you won't bend the knee and submit, you are up for punishment.

How that escapes folks eludes me.
