Errr, not really. It seems to me we're just entering another period of ''Austerity'', and that will go down really well at a time like this. Another vote winner. :P
I was looking at some figures yesterday and it seems rather than the Tories ''choking off migration'', it has actually increased. All bar the ''Covid Years'', which I spose is understandable. 2021 being the last year they have any figures for.

I don’t know, what impact did it have? As far as I know neither the BMA or any other trade union has control of new entrants into their industry. The union I worked for positively welcomed newcomers, and wanted them to have full time contracts. ( the employer always put new employees on part time).
It’s interesting though that in 2008 the BMA had concerns about there being *too many* doctors. Unlike now.

In fairness Eli, they never said Penchies wouldn't receive the promised rise, they just said ''nothing was off the table'' as politicians do. Phewwwwwwwwww
Prime Minister Liz Truss is facing MPs in her first Prime Minister's Questions since being forced to ditch her flagship tax cuts from the mini-budget
At the end of her clash with Starmer, Truss said she was "completely committed" to raising pensions in line with inflation, per the "triple lock" guarantee.

Anyone else get the feeling that what’s happening in Ukraine with the mass evacuation of Kherson and Ben Wallace flying to the States… Vlad is about to do the unthinkable?
Very very worrying
