A very intelligent and truly lovely Iranian guy lives directly across the road from me. He pfhucking detests the Ayatollahs and the whole regime. He wants to go home but his prospects for a long life are not good if he does. Stick or twist.

Geopolitics mon ami, Venezuela has the largest oil reserves in the world, which are now no longer available to either China or Russia. Sounds good to me. :)

It's theft on a global scale sinkov. I'm reading the Venezuelan military is intact, the power vacuum will need to be filled by some sort of an institution and there is no way the US can put enough boots on the ground to fulfil that sort of obligation.

Reports are that it was an inside job.

It is more than likely that the Venezuelan military assisted the US in the abduction of their President, as no shots fired.

The trouble is with Trump and Netanyahu in power there is no-one able to stop them.

It's no coincidence after they met again for the fifth time this year that Israel virtually stopped all aid going into Gaza and Trump invaded Venezuela.

The UN, EU and NATO are as toothless as our offensive capabilities at Burnley Football Club.

I think you could describe the SFA they received, just pack your bags and go, as theft mon ami, especially after the billions of dollars poured into the Venezuelan Oil Industry over the years by America.
