According to SOMO?s data, Iraq exported 1,029,213,454 barrels between January and October 2025. The monthly average reached 102.9 million barrels, while daily exports averaged 3.43 million barrels.
Exports from the Basra and central fields dominated the total, accounting for 1,005,380,183 barrels shipped through southern ports. The report also highlighted the continued export flow from Kirkuk to Jordan, which totaled 3,138,271 barrels during the same period.
A notable development was the resumption of exports from the Kurdistan Region, which returned after more than three years of suspension. The region exported 5,834,864 barrels through Turkey?s Ceyhan terminal.
Financially, SOMO reported that Iraq generated $55.8 billion in oil revenues over the eight months extending from March to November 2025.
The Ministry of Oil also announced that October alone recorded over 7 billion USD in revenue, driven by exports of 110,923,047 barrels of crude and condensates. Exports from the south and center contributed 104.8 million barrels, while Kurdistan added 5.8 million barrels and Jordan received 272,077 barrels.
These figures reaffirm Iraq?s position as one of the world?s key oil suppliers and highlight the growing stabilization of export channels across multiple regions."
EO 13303 was to protect US interests in Iraq after the war, it was part of the process of lifting economic sanctions on the Iraqi economy, the money went into a Federal Reserve Account, it did not go to the US government., which has no access to it, never had.
