Allardyce says you haven't. Said as much on Sky yesterday.
I have followed 'religiously' from the fifties. Whether it's as a St holder, from afar when I was in the 'Far Flung' in the mid sixties ( I missed the 1966 WC as well because of my commitments).
I now live in France. I therefore can't see every game 'Live' but watch all the live games on any of the sports channel available to me.
I therefore get information from my son, who does attend, and through friends and football fans sights.
I therefore think I have a a right to give my opinion...remember it is all "opinion", and many will be biased one way or the other.
Whether you like this player or that player or hate the manager is still all 'your' opinion.
i obviously can't attend matches, and i am more inclined to listen to the opinions of those that do go.
however, i don't believe that in general discussion that anyone is more entitled to an opinion, just because of where they watched the game.
how many times have regulars on here come back from a match and seen an aspect of the game (player performance/event/style) in a completely different light from someone else who attended?

This is the place for opinions on all things West Ham and the more opinions the better. Everyone's view is welcome, we are all entitled to get things wrong, change our minds and even engage in a hypocritical rant which can last pages and pages if there is somebody replying.
Everyone should say their piece on here and if someone suggests you've said too much, are repeating yourself or are boring them then double your efforts ;D . . . . . . . . they will probably storm off i
'Only a real fan if you go to games'?
Bollo(ks.
In my opinion there are fans and non-fans. A fan is someone to whom West Ham and its success (however you wish to measure it) is important. A non-fan is someone who either doesnt follow football or follows another club.
It is that simple to me.
Let's put it this way. A bloke who went to, or saw the Palace game on the box, has a right to say, for example "Carroll was sh1t, so was Nolan, but Noble did OK". I don't have that right because I neither went nor saw the game so how do I know?
But I saw the Arsenal game, on tv, so my views on how people played in that game are valid, if you get my drift. Although I obviously accept that you probably get a better overview of a game if you're actually there.
But against that on tv something you could easily miss in the flesh is replayed time and again so you may get a different perspective.
For those claiming that one can't express an opinion without seeing each game.
I assume you will not pass opinion on, say, Sly Stallone's acting abilities without first seeing each film he appears in.
So each time he makes yet another sh1t film with his sh1t acting, we wipe the slate clean and ignore everything we have previously witnessed.
I am clearly at fault here. I kind of assume he'll be sh1t, because he's been sh1t in everything I've ever seen him in, has demonstrated only the ability to be sh1t, and I do not, personally like his sh1t acting (ha) style.
Clearly it is wrong to criticise someones performance in specific game if you havent seen it. But it is still legitimate to say 'I think that player is sh1t' even if you have not seen the latest game.
In other words, most of us normal, flawed people, base our opinion on previous experience and, to some extent, personal favouritism.
I wouldn't put it past Allardyce to sign Rocky, he's the right age and would battle well in midfield alongside the equally gifted Taylor.
And he could shout "Adrian" at the keeper.
I'm certainly not saying you can't passQuote:
