As I said earlier with some of the rubbish that's posted on this forum I can't imagine Harry or his Father encouraging Joe to come to Crewe -some of the posters are downright poisonous

My opinion is that HD has improved since his time at full back, although others have also done the same. For the majority of the time that HD was in the team, he was consistent and played his part. There were however, occasions when his form dipped (not many should I add), and then the manager should have rested him and given someone else the chance, just like he did when Ellis had a rough patch. I for one, mentioned this at the time. By the time HD got that awful injury, his form was good. However, the pairing of Duggy & Ellis has seen an improvement in results and ***** points have been picked up.

One player who has improved vastly, is Tootle. He was fine before he was switched to LB, but he was not his usual confident self when out of position. Since regaining the RB spot he has been immense and deserves his accolade. Just shows that not all players adapt well when played in a different role.

Agree with everything y

There is truth in Joe. However, even with contract up he'd still cost compo and it'd be too much for a Lg1 side with no budget for that. He'll either come or stay at Vale as sub.

Certainly a controversial topic, and did we have to raise it so soon after the feel good factor from Saturday!

I think there is very little to chose between Duggy, Mark Ellis and Harry, although I find a little hangover from when Harry was RB, and pretty poor at it IMO. So I'd tend to go for Duggy/Ellis as my first choice, certainly it should be Harry who has to fight for his place, but I'm not sure that will be the case...more on this next season?

The amount of bites ive got from this thread is unbelievable.

Some body knows what I know about Joe coming here, not 'rubbish' now is it.
