Sorry but i disagree. With all the global deforestation, these accidental gardeners are not only helping the worlds atmosphere, but providing habitat for a lot of otherwise homeless creatures.
Cant help thinking Titchmarsh might do it for less though.

Do we actually need royalty at all.
Do we actually give a flying about Wales,Scotland or Ireland either.
People undoubtedly visit London because of the Royal family and pomp they provide. You mention lots of other places, but they would all envy the number of tourists London gets - its #1 most visited city in the world, the Royal family definitely plays a part. Every big royal event puts Britain on the front of every Royal page in the world, free publicity that is worth far more than they cost.Quote:

Another great thread zilzal...informative as always, amusing and seamlessly introducing myself and Mrs K into the post with The Prince Of Wales Theatre link..quite brilliant.
Alas, one or two of the replies were lacking in all respects.
I suppose if we just looked on the Monarchy as a business, they probably generate more cash for the country than cost and they are quite interesting with a lively family history.

Whenever women and bottoms/arses come up in close proximity I feel my heart racing and my pulse quickening to a quite alarming extent. However, I won't pursue CT's claim that a member of his family knows for certain that Pippa M's arse is genuine.
They do manufacture sculpted bums for the less well endowed because I've seen one. We'll just have to put this one to bed for now and commiserate with Pippa for her ludicrous protruberance and hope the shedloads of money she's made since her sister's marriage affords her a modicum of compensation.
What is less easy to swallow is the Palace PR that tourists are attracted to Britain because of our Royal Family. I thought they went to such as Stratford, Stonehenge, the Lake District, York Minster, Canterbury and many other places simply because of their innate attractiveness.
London itself has a multiplicity of delights (such as museums, *********, cathedrals, theatreland, literary shrines, elegant parks, first class architecture and thoroug

CT, my curiosity about Pippa's derriere and its authenticity has suddenly reached fever pitch. Before the dikes burst their banks, do tell your familial story. BTW I don't fancy her in the least (unlike her sister) it's the arse angle that takes my fancy.
MILLA, Kempo is far too discerning to praise or even like my every post. I'm very much with him on this one.
As for holidays. I'm already promised to gm-gm. He keeps asking me what an 'Auerbach' is and a 'Pechstein.' Thus we're going on a two week tour of the Modern Art ********* of Europe. I only wish IBS could join us to amuse and educate us along the way.
Zilzal, much as I would like to it would probably not be appropriate here. Telling the story would divulge too much about the person behind CTM.Quote:
