It all depends on how you look into those two threads. The thing that always brings a smile to my face is the 'whatever happened to' and 'why doesn't' so and so post anymore. When forum users decide to stop, the forum still continues without their input. At least with OG, he had the guts to step up and moderate the place. I've always got time for him, met him a couple of times.
I met him the once. We had a big hug and got on very well. He was a first class bloke and he was a good moderator if the off-site email communications to me were anything to go byQuote:

He gave his reasons in those two threads that we have mentioned in this one. Some posters move on,other lurk and only comment with those that they are in touch with away from the forum. oldgold is active and he enjoys molinuex mix. I think the last time i spoke to him was at the Shrewsbury Town pre-season friendly a couple of seasons ago.

I always enjoyed those threads, looking in where forum users would compete to say 'our pub' is better than 'your pub' :)
