There is a strong rumour going around that Clement was sacked for "non footballing" issues, whatever they may be, I've heard but not repeating anything that could be construed as slanderous!
What seems certain is that the sacking was unplanned - why let a coach buy players in January if two weeks later you sack him and its not as if performances had not been poor for long before that.
In truth we have not played well all season, many of us were scratching our heads even when we were top, as to how we had got there, just don't seem to be able to string a decent half together never mind about a match.
It was always a gamble with Clement he was new to the No 1 position and I'm not sure this Head Coach malarkey is right either, it implys that the actual management is done by others, mostly of little football expertise.
I fear we have management by committee, never a good sign.
