re: Rogues Gallery thread removed
Appreciate the open way the moderation has been undertaken. In the case of photos the copyright generally belongs to the photographer and if its taken openly legally nobody in the photo has a claim on how its used, unless the use is clearly defamatrory or illegal. Which is how facebook, the press etc get away with it, but appreciate that it is not the intention of anyone on this board to deliberately cause offence.
re: Rogues Gallery thread removed
Bottom line is that a complaint went in and Footymad asked us Mods to delete the photos which gaz did

Nice one swaledale but I would prefer to have a picture removed if someone isn't happy, even it was taken by Lord Snowdon
I think it's an individuals right to privacy that matters here the laws on copyright can swivel on me drivel lol
People come first when common sense prevails
We also accept there was no malice intended in posting the pics in the first place

Unfortunately in this case the photographer was a DCFC one and noone has the right to distribute the pictures without people's permission. You'll find on Facebook it makes the poster liable as do the t's and c's on this board.
If someone wants them down then they have to come down.
