I was one of the lucky ones, went into his pub,when he was selling the raffle tickets for the Plymouth trip, but it turned out it was his day off, the barmaid running the pub said only Mills was selling the tickets, lucky for me I didn't lose any money, because I never went back.
It was Crash who came on here with his suspicions and he was greeted with disdain from posters and I think Mills himself who used the site at the time. Crash the clairvoyant as he is now known round these parts XD
I think Millers on tour also raised suspicions, he told me around the same time something wasn't right but didn't go public at that point.
Yeah it was Crash come to think of it.
I remember one particular poster who used to post on here a lot before leaving for banter , gave Crash some right stick.
He was going on about how Mills was trying to build up a business and this sort of slander could ruin things. He'd paid for tickets himself and his attitude certainly changed when the truth came out.
Be nice to draw a non league club fairly close to Cresswell in the cup and use his pub as a stop off.
Imagine his face if a bus load of Millers walked in the place.
