Some people round here did maybe but not countrywide.

Personally I would bring in work permits and if they worked then they could stay, thing is, the majority have never worked so they'd soon be off somewhere else.

If this country stopped giving immigrants houses and benefits they would all go somewhere else but our politicians wouldn't do it; discrimination, racism and all that crap.

I'm the FD of a fast growing company who import materials from the EU. Yes we have seen costs rise due to the pound, but so have our competitors.

I am convinced that this country will prosper post Brexit. You only have to listen to the pro European Macron in the French elections, who states that reform is required, to know that all is not rosy in the EU garden.

There is no foundation to all this economic doom and gloom. We are a net importer of goods from the EU. They, like us, do not want tariffs to be imposed.

The tories need to win this election and drive through a hard brexit. I hope May walks away from the table if they won't discuss the exit terms in parallel with the trade deal.

I import most of my products so the fall in the pound has cost me money but I don't regret voting Brexit as I'm not selfish enough to put my interests before everyone else's.

I'm still very glad we left.

I must say though, the idea that we all voted out to get rid of the gypsies is the first time I have EVER heard that. gwru, I think you are making the assumption that because that is why did it, that is why everyone did it.

It should be obvious that if hard brexit was going to happen she wouldn't of called a general election? Thin majority, May weak and proven liar who is pro EU, The troublesome back benches who are very much against the EU, she was obviously worried that they wouldn't go for the deal...

I'd be far happier with a decent and honest bloke who is against the EU for all the right reasons.
