I'm the FD of a fast growing company who import materials from the EU. Yes we have seen costs rise due to the pound, but so have our competitors.
I am convinced that this country will prosper post Brexit. You only have to listen to the pro European Macron in the French elections, who states that reform is required, to know that all is not rosy in the EU garden.
There is no foundation to all this economic doom and gloom. We are a net importer of goods from the EU. They, like us, do not want tariffs to be imposed.
The tories need to win this election and drive through a hard brexit. I hope May walks away from the table if they won't discuss the exit terms in parallel with the trade deal.
