Verdict on Murrayfield

Despite the performance it was an enjoyable experience, likely aided by the sun shining admittedly.
Stadium is so much better located and easier to get to than Hampden, and despite the stands being further than desirable from the pitch they were still preferable to Hampden.
Not ideal, but an improvement in the assessment of international options.

The Dundee jam was bizzare, it stopped after the Morrisons traffic lights, almost as if the timings had been changed, because at the top of the hill at the Shell garage, there was no queue. For the QC, it's still suffering from bridge tourists which killed us yesterday, but otherwise getting to Murrayfield is much better than getting to the celtic end/sevco end stadium imo

I agree. I had no alternative than to leave at 11am yesterday which was always going to be an issue so I had no problem with either delay in Dundee or Queensferry.

But, on the stadium itself, works for me. Slight bottle neck as we exited the stadium and crossed that bridge but not a major issue. And the upper stands are miles away from the pitch but what is the alternative? There is none, if you want a 70K stadium then most folk will always be miles from the pitch.

Hampden is a joke of a stadium, built to appease the Weegies. You don't need a national stadium as such, play the semis and finals where they logistically and geographically need to be, and move the internationals around, based on supply and demand and who the opposition is.
