I was visiting Eastbourne a couple of years ago Alto,a lovely walk from the pier to Beachyhead and back..
Went into the town and you couldn't move for all the Zimmer frames and Spaz wagons zooming all over the place.. :D

"Winter of my life" - my arse.
We love it here in Morecambe. Once you get here you realise what a up coming place it is for arts, community and enjoyment.
Plus, the setting is to die for (but not for many years yet!).
And property is a fraction of the cost of Eastbourne...and Turf Moor is only 60 minutes away.
Win, win, win, win.
I have yet to see your arse on the Predictions League, not that I want to as I guess its like mine and not a pretty sight :)
I wasn't getting at Morecambe or yourself 59_60, I have Done my Burnley (which I Miss) Done the City life for work which down here goes at 100 MPH without taking a breath, so I need a quieter, tranquil slow pace, and Morecambe fits the bill, and as you say its only an hour from the Turf.
We seem to disagree somewhat on Politics and also you said you would not want to sit next to me ont Turf, If I ever move to Morecambe I will hunt you down fella, I'll sit next to you on every game and have a night in a pub with you once a week and we can argue about Politics :)
I'm up for that Alto!
As long as you don't start moaning, "It should be four. What are the board doing?" When we are 3-0 up against Man Utd.
There is a brilliant bar in town (The Exchange) which shows sport from 11AM till close. On Saturday we have the choice of around six live games. Plenty of Clarets here, so Burnley are usually on. They do a fantastic pie and peas and a great choice of real ale.
Arguing becomes one of the joys of life as you get older and I'll be happy to put you right on your politics!
I am actually a Morecambe Town Council Councillor by the way.
Check it out - it makes a lot of sense to move here. A friendly place with plenty going on. The Merseybeats are doing their Christmas show here in December. Remember them? I do! Also Buddy Holly, Pink Floyd and Bob Dylan - and that's all before Christmas.
***I should point out that Dylan, Floyd and Buddy Holly are all tribute bands.
I'll give that lot a miss if you don't mind? :s
Regular Northern Soul nights as well BT.
Some nice sunsets in Morecambe.
Don't even think about it Sinkov!
Sharing a pint and arguing is fine, but not with you AND Alto.
I should hope Buddy Holly is a tribute band http://i65.tinypic.com/xb03mu.jpg
The one's you have listed only Pink Floyd would appeal to me, especially if its the band Think Floyd who I watched down here in a pub in Forest Hill and they were pretty good.
I'm not a moaner 59_60, Whenever I get the chance to watch us I know their personal limits, I don't berate from the terraces and never have and accept their limits, I did give Chris Waddle some verbal on the street after one particular game back in the 90's and if I'd have met John Bond I'd have done the same to him.
Yes, I probably had no need to explain that :D
Here are the upcoming concerts at The Platform (there are other venues too).

Like you I am a big Floyd fan. I have no idea how good this lot are but they have been around for 12 years.
I have just noticed that it is on this Saturday.
I know you are a good sort and you are a proper Claret by the way - but banter is good!
