Hecky brought on three subs at the same time. They were not straight swaps. Hecky said on Radio S it was to allow Pinnock to get forrad and attack the ball. I wunta brought Ugbo on. i'd a given Bird 20 mins. Ugbo is a mistake, too easily out muscled at this age/level. Was it Hecky that identified him to come here is the question I'd like answering, or someone else ?
All managers/coaches do it Jules, but this is not an overnight thing is it. He/Hecky has been making some 'questionable' choices and changes for 11 whole months now. Im not saying its all he does of course and I do still expect him to see this season out with us and he does deserve that. However, the new owners (which is something we're going to have to get used to saying now) might see it differently and they are the ones who will decide.

I agree this was always a gamble to sign an unknown and untested kid like Ugbo, even though it was from a club like Chelski, but for various reasons its not worked out has it and I dont expect it to in any of the remaining games. We have better attacking options than him and with a few tweaks here and there in January, I really dont see the need to play him at all to be honest and today it sounds like a lot of our fans didnt appreciate it at all.
