He's back! Literally just retweeted a couple of things about Notts and Ilkeston!

It's only a business unlike any other if you don't know what you're doing. Both RT and AH thought that because they had been successful in one area they could be successful in another. Let's play a game, make RT do AH's Paragon job and make AH do RT's recruitment business job. They'd both go bust pretty quickly. But they both think/thought they can play Football Manager, I mean everyone knows about football as is evident from these boards and AH in particular who can recognise future England managers and good training sessions based on kids football. He even rated NA based on his presentation on what was wrong with the team's defending.
It took Sirrel and Dunnett years to build up a successful club and I'm sure Dunnett didn't interefere with footballing matters. It was just a criminal shame that the support wasn't there at a difficult time for football in general and the height of competition from across the river.
If AH and RT look back on their successes I'd bet that they had trusted and competent right hand men and that they were not "Yes" men.
Some good points . Hardy is an embarrassment, despite him "saving" the club. A debatable point anyway. Why doesn't he just watch the games and sign the cheques? And yes the appalling goalkeeper and inept defence just have to go, no matter what the cost.
You have hit the nail right on the head Grantham. Why do we need a Director of Football at all, we are a league 2 club not Manchester City! What does Paul Hart, Jason Turner and the others riding the gravy train actually do? It seems like Hart has been marginalised but that report? Hardy will keep throwing good money after bad as he has no idea how to run a professional football club and never did (Lowdham Colts maybe!), he has been advised by designer mugs in Fletcher and Mace and a fool and his money are soon parted if he ain't skint already?
Some of you are hilarious. So you say KEEP OUT OF FOOTBALL MATTERS HARDY!!!! So he appoints a director of football and takes a step back as he realises he's got alot to learn. Next you say HARDY WE DON'T NEED A DIRECTOR OF FOOTBALL YOU ONLY NEED A MANAGER. The manager doesn't run the entire club and wouldn't want to, that's too much on his shoulders.
So do you want Hardy running it or someone who is more experienced like Hart?
Can't have it both ways.
