2019 - interesting year to come. NOT FOOTBALL RELATED.

Cancer is a horrible disease, it takes so many forms sometimes it is hard to keep track.

At this time Mr Wortley is in remission, he has CLL a form of leukaemia, my Goddaughter is fighting cervical cancer, one of my cousins has prostate cancer another has recovered from anal cancer and we have lost many family members over the years with Breast, Bowel, Lung, Oesophageal, Pancreatic, Bile Duct, Stomach, Ovarian the list seems endless and of course there are the many I haven't mentioned.

It is understandable that they are having trouble finding a cure when all of them have different symptoms. I know they are doing research into the DNA of cancers in the hope they can find a way through genetics to provide some form of treatment.

It is mu hope that they find something soon so the generations to come do not have to fear it. I send good wishes and hugs to everyone on here who has or has had the damn thing and to their families as well xx

Wow, What a brave man you are, Must have took some balls to even begin to post this, The same thing got my uncle 2 years ago,

Please do as he did and live each day to the full, Really puts life into perspective, Top man, From the bottom of my heart all the best pal..

Not quite sure what to say Mark but some very inspirational words from you.

I was so annoyed when I got home but then read this and realized that the problems I had were very petty and I was working myself up over nothing.

Every time I get angry or annoyed I'm going to think of your post about living life to the full and for each and every moment.

Such grace...deep respect, fella.

I was going to post earlier but found it difficult. My wife succumbed to this evil disease two years ago, the wound is still raw. Be strong and hopefully you get a break - chemo can be a bad trip, don't be afraid to ask them to review it if you find it difficult. Take care 7982, with respect 46!

Live life to the lfull mate, **** this dreadful desease!

As most on here have said puts day to day gripes well into perspective.

Absolutely T-Bird. You might even get a smile from some of the oul fart posts on here.

Just recovering from a massive heart attack last Sunday and feeling sorry for myself then I read this. I'm so sorry, I've always loved your optimism about Leeds Utd and hope to keep hearing it for as long as you can. What a season it would be to go up. All the best.
