Fantastic result. A real gutsy display. We rode our luck somewhat near the end but showed great spirit.
Delighted for young Jack in goals. Maguire and in particular Doyle were immense at CB.
Yes, Laurie took the pre- match warm-up yesterday instead of Eddie and he certainly looked to be geeing the players up and looked full of enthusiasm, and the pace he put the players through was more up tempo. I wouldn't say anything negative against Dougie Anderson and his time here as Assistant but Ellis looks like he wants to be more involved in preparations instead of just standing watching the players go through their routines. Hopefully his enthusiasm lifts the players, he's started well going by yesterday's showing.Quote:
