Surprised a bit at Scott's comments regarding looking to Eastern Europe. I've read a couple of things suggesting Brexit will make it virtually impossible to sign second or third tier EU players. That said I may have got the wrong end of the stick.

A bit more lighting would help at least surely that wouldn't cost much from a lighting man. The main problem I can see is somebody tripping over a kerb in the dark and people falling on top of them. Its not so bad in the light although still a risk. There is still also the risk of away supporters meeting home fans at the top of Don Street and fans being pushed back if there is a skirmish.
This seems bonkers to me. As Seutonius suggested a couple of millenia back: "It is always wiser to garrison a fortress adequately than to lose it and then attempt to retake it." I doubt very much that promotion is a serious goal of the board and I doubt even more the willingness or ability to put adequate resources in the allow a "sustained stint." If so why the freck did we not make more of a fist of staying up in the first place? Bonkers way to run a whelk stall.
I asked the question about the barrier the answer was you would rather have "100k spent on a player wouldn't you"
This type of comment is to shut folk up and nothing else. The club would be entitled to apply for a grant to cover this type of thing.
£30 pa is definitely bargain basement, Frog!>;) Seriously though you may be right: I have skimmed a couple of pieces that implied there would be problems but I'm no expert.
RE point 8, did you not suggest getting some of these?
