Mick. Bongo has posted many times on Villa Mad about faked moon landings.

That's a very good point GLM. I remember watching a program about conspiracy theories. It basically said that were it true, the fewer people that know about it, the much higher the likelihood of the lie being contained. So, basically, the higher number of people in on the secret, the higher the number of risks there are of the scam being exposed. I believe NASA directly and indirectly employed around 400,000 people on Apollo X1 which is why I've always believed it to be true given peoples ongoing greed to sell stories for cash. This would have been the biggest hoax of all time but no one ever did expose it as a fake.
I'll acknowledge I'm not the keenest student of the moon landings. But I can't work out how the Americans managed to put several landing craft, rover vehicles and a large number of foot prints which are clearly visible from the satellite cameras of other countries on the surface of the moon without ever having been there. Not only do they doctor their own photos but those of their rivals? Despite many thinking they're thick as fk they're clearly damned clever and highly resourceful. Never underestimate those Yanky Doodle Dandies.
The Russian and Chinese governments must have monitored the landings carefully. If the landings were indeed a scam, then for the life of me I can't work out how neither communist regime failed to expose the Yanks for the big fat whoppers they would have been. We're not talking crop circles here. I'd have thought they'd have picked up on a PR coup such as that over their greatest rivals, the hated enemy. Opportunity missed. Oh well, back to drinking Vodka and teasing Panda bears at the fairground for them both.
