It brought a tear to my eye seeing Crooks holding Woods!
Not a great game but a fascinating one. Great pressing from us in first 25 mins with them having good tactic whenever they could of escaping the press by hitting it over the top for speedy forwards to run onto. They look dangerous. And eventually Ipswich evened it up towards half time, us seeming to run out of the energy and fluency in passing at first and I was happy to take 0-0 to half time and kick towards our fans in 2nd half. But that is a crucial goal from Superman - how many big game goals has he scored?
Overall I think we shaded it, Vassell very unlucky early but great that we got the edge. Warney needs to box clever now - keep the tempo and pressing, but not take risks in high line as that's their main tactic so far. Allow them to have to change shape and hopefully allow more room for Ogbene.
