Unlike Rodrigues, this looks an Ardley rather than Football Radar signing. Without Rose we have a definite gap in the 'dirty work' midfield department, but he seems qualified to fill it if he stays fit.

As good as your last season? That’s a ridiculous statement. Most of Notts players were diabolical in the relegation season yet many redeemed themselves last season.
I’m not sure what people expect sometimes. Reckon there would be a few that would moan if we signed Messi. Too small. Too foreign. Too old. Was part of the worst Barcelona side in the last 20 years etc etc
Why can’t folk form an opinion when they have seen the player play?
Rodriguez, great signing blah blah blah... never seen him play
Reeves, had injury problems. Not the DM we need.
Both have the same in common. Completely new to Notts.
It's good to hear him describe his main strengths as stamina, running all over the pitch....
It reassures me that the penny's dropped....50% of the route out of this league goes through a Wembley final in May, where we've seen to our cost that having legs in your side is a must. The high likelihood of this makes it worth covering and we simply can't afford to put out another team like the one against Harrogate.
Seems to be a good signing and one to go straight into the team.
Oh me laddio. He played for Ardley 4 years ago. Granted he sounded excellent then and well worth the 150k. However, since then he has spent over 20 months out injured. If he was still that player, there is not a chance he'd be coming to play for Notts in the Conference. I would suggest that signing him is a gamble (one which Bradford clearly didn't want to make.)
That being said, if the gamble pays off, we could have a gem on our hands and I hope it works out for him.
Who exactly redeemed themselves this season? I remember being humiliated in a playoff final and watching some shocking performances against some awful teams. We should have romped the league with our squad.
Enzio did about as much as last season. Doyle was okay, but not the amazing influence some make him out to be, Dennis scored a few, but hardly a roaring success, O'Brien was injured and average when he came back. Rose was shocking.
Who have I missed?
I've always been a big admirer of the generally unsung type of midfielder that gets stuck in, and although they may not have silky skills on the ball their main asset is to stop the opposition playing. Despite his apparent injury problems, I'm encouraged by this signing because far too often in the last few years we've allowed opposing midfielders far too much time and space on the ball.
