And maybe he was to blame for Phil Collins turning into a gorilla

I hated him for that goal that shouldn't have counted .
Forgive but don't forget..
Let's face it if Beardsley or Lineker had scored a winner with their hands would we have branded them a cheat?..no.
How many people call Thierry Henry a cheat for doing something very similar v Ireland?..very few I bet, just because he did it against us he's branded a cheat .
Alcoholic Drug taker BUT we have lost arguably the best footballer that ever lived..remember him for that.
(BTW he's not my favourite player of all time either, but many others).
RIP fella, he made lifestyle choices that shortened his life and alas was unable to cheat death.
What an incredible player
The greatest footballer of all time.

Still a ****er.
Enormously talented - shame it wasn't matched with a robustly stable personality
from the 'hand of God' to the 'land of God'
Adios
Lindsay met Maradona when he was a ball boy, i bet he was star struck
Yes he cheated, he turned into a waster but he definitely was a top footballer

All is not what it seems with Maradona
Heavily influenced by drug pushers when he got to Spain with no protection from his employers and led down the wrong path by the Mafia when he got to Naples.
Constantly fouled by defenders with challenges that wouldn't be allowed today.
Then pumped full of drugs by club doctors to keep him going because he was a goldmine
When he was 18 his club at the time, Argentinos Juniors, went on exhibition tours abroad because fans wanted to see this wonder kid. The owner of the club didn't pay him though.
Putting the handball aside Maybe he was the victim and was seriously abused and this might explain some of his lifestyle choices.
Sadly the people who took advantage of him contributed to his early demise
