Scored some belters for someone who supposedly couldnt play, one at Hull i think sticks out in my mind...

Yup think most of the old school hard men of football could also play a lot but that tended to get overlooked.

I think our Norman Hunter was a good example of wot your saying there Hopey, he never seemed to get credit as a player. Which is a shame really. :(

Exactly - remember seeing a give a side charity tournie in roundhay park and Vinnie was playing he was very good and good at keeping uppies too.

Of the Hunter era big Jack could play a bit and of the modern era Tony Adams was very good but forced to play a certain way by Georgie stroller Graham.
