Howdy, you're one of those old dinosaurs who see these things as binary. Raging's wife could tell you that science has now identified at least 150 genders in humans. I'm pleased to say our local council has become the first to allocate a wing of the maternity unit to trans women. As Kwale Ukulele, our local Labour councillor, points out this is soon to be a labour manifesto pledge: "If men can self-identify as women and therefore become women then surely they are entitled to identify as pregnant women." The council bowed to the logic of this argument and have allocated three beds and a team of midwives to the unit.
