Good point. Would have been the easy option to play Rawlinson yesterday

Appraisal of the game?
How many games has a discussion of the opposition manager been used to appraise the game?
I look forward on Tuesday night for the thread about the Rochdale manager's performance.
I really hope that now we have had a visit from Solihull we can put this constant griping at NA behind us. I think most of us would agree that IB is better than NA.
As a former owner used to say, 'Onwards and upwards'.
I think it was worth noting that the Solihull manager was our ex manager and commenting on how he and his team performed on the day. Especially has there seemed to be a difference of opinions amongst our fans on how he performed when he was in charge and when he was relieved of his duties.
I think yesterday confirmed the owners got it right and have backed the right horse..!
What must Ardley have been thinking watching Rodrigues buccaneer display ?
He was probably thinking that he should be grateful while he was here for many saying "we need to stick with him, because constantly sacking managers isn't a recipe for success".
Most of us knew that, but our counter argument that sticking with a poor manager isn't a recipe for success either is looking a solid one.
If he was still here I have a feeling we'd still have Doyle and O'Brien in midfield with Rodrigues on the bench
And that folks has literally nothing to do with RĂ¹ben da Rocha Rodrigues buccaneer display and NA's thoughts on it.
To Elite's point sadly there are many many who still don't realise that constantly sackings managers prematurely isn't a recipe for success.
We want promotion and we want it now. Close your eyes and click heels three times lol
