You, and others no doubt, may find my comments unbelievable but I don't think they are untrue. I think vaccines have helped to reduce the loss of life caused by the covid19 virus. Do you agree? If vaccines do not stop the spread of the virus, should simple measures like wearing face masks and working from home for example, be encouraged? If you disagree, what do you think should be done? Telling someone like Nicola or Boris that they are wrong is not the answer, IMO. Giving them alternative courses of action seems to me, to be a better way to achieve changes in covid policies.
FWIW, I think the working from home instruction/suggestion is unnecessary and will cause significant problems for retailers and the entertainment and catering industry.
I will apologise if my optimism about the vaccination programme proves to be wrong and we do go into lockdown and furlough this winter.
