McNulty to break Hearts

In fairness, top strikers are not easy to find. Most difficult thing in the game. As much as we will blame the rest of the team, Shankland is living proof of how hard it is in the top league. He was half the player he was before. Just stood on the last man and was happy to be marked. Offered nothing, no movement at all and missed nearly every chance he did get. I, and probably nobody else, saw how poor he was coming.

At least the guys we have work for the team. Yes they lack cutting edge quality but they also massively lack confidence.

Today is the day though. One will go in off a backside and confidence will surge through. My initial 3-1 victory prediction was too pessimistic. Reckon 5-0 us today.

Shankland was never bullied like these two powderpuff so called strikers we have. He still wouldn't work in this team due to our lack of creating chances but come on, Mcnulty and Clark are absolutely shocking and id be happy to never see either of them start a game for us ever again. Shankland id welcome back with open arms.

we are not even asking for top strikers, decent ones would be a start, average and mediocre at this point would even be a massive improvement they are both utter p1sh

Totally agree

Clark will end up in our top 20 goal scorers of all time.......having played out of position or part of games for most of his career. Was *****ly important in our good start to the season.

Hoping without Mulgrew we will end up playing 20 yards further up the pitch today. Not sure all the problems are in the front line as everyone suggests

There are players out there, we just never seem to find them. Anderson at Livi and Regan Charles Cook are two that spring readily to mind. Then again, put them in our team and we will stifle the ability out of them in no time. Tony Watt, I'll say again, has gone from the leagues top scorer to not knowing where the goal is. He must be wishing he stayed put

Agree, but other than that (and sometimes an impact sub), he’s rank rotten!!
We cannot afford to carry players like that, and have several (Harkes, McNulty, etc.,) who regularly get a game but contribute feck all 90% of the time!!
