I'll call this post like she called the (miners) working class in the eighties - 'the enemy within'.
Let's not kid ourselves and pretend we're middle class when we're not - she introduced 29 anti union laws within 2 years, things that we're still paying the price for now (eg P & O).
The tragedy of that time was that we didn't realise that the miners fight really was everybodys fight, and for all the negative issues the unions had we would be in a much better place now had we seen the danger signs and acted.
If you're not sure, ask a pensioner how they feel about the pension triple lock fiasco - a blatant shafting for decent people who had been promised a better life - or the P & O workers watching agency staff walk into their jobs.
