Grist I believe you have a valid point. I have to admit, it isn't the first time this has occurred and ironically not always the same time of the day

Sad that we can't have a grown up discussion about issues like this. My only contribution to this thread is the observation that those complaining most vociferously about politics invading sport are often the ones who either initiate them or express political views in snide or sarcastic remarks
