All who have an interest in Notts County have seen many highs and lows since that time, from utter elation to abject misery and every emotion between. I can honestly say though that over the years, I have never seen this club so professionally run. Every area of the club speaks 'quality'.
I've always felt that club is so fortunate to have the Reedtz brothers as owners. They operate with great dignity, thoroughness and vision. and they employ the right people to further the club's aims, on and off the pitch. I have been impressed particularly by the way manager Luke Williams promotes their ideals and philosphy through the players. Rarely have a team of Notts players looked so well-schooled and coached, each knowing exactly what his objectives are.
It has been a fantastically entertaining season throughout, a barrowload of goals yes but also a team that consistently plays an exciting brand of football, a team that never knows when it is beat. Much of what goes on over those white lines is indicative of a team playing at least two levels higher.
Notts have a beautiful stadium and a fabulous playing surface to perform on. They have healthy and growing crowds coming into that stadium. In short, everything is 'right' about this club. They are a club to be exceedingly proud of.
Whatever happens in the remaining weeks Notts County have a bright future I believe. They deserve patience from the supporters whils the club build towards greater things.
