I think we should be honouring one of the best Notts teams of all time on their 100th anniversary of winning promotion to the top flight. They wore a chevron shirt for all three seasons back in the top flight 1923-1926, finishing 10th and then 9th before the change of offside rules did us.
We probably will be going back to the black & white stripes though, which is fair enough, but it would be a missed opportunity not to acknowledge the 1920s success. They could have the chevron not extending so far down, to allow room for the sponsor.
