Our name is on the cup
More questions than answers there. A lot to be critical of, from our point of view.
But you want to see the free-kick that led to their goal. Angus drew breath and the ref penalised him for it.
A game of two halves. Very shaky at the back second half and wasteful upfront. Still, we’re through and lots of positives again. Tighten up at the back, get the shooting boots on and all will be well.
Better than our last cup game but I hope Hacken weren't watching.
So what do we play against Hacken
(a) The back three we started with and Rubežić looking dodgy
(b) The back four we finished with looking as nervous as Dustin Hoffman in The Graduate
(c) A back four with Rubežić and MacDonald who have never played together?
"Lots of positives again"?? Apart from the win and going through to the next round then I'm struggling to see what positives you can take from that 90 minutes?
We were shockingly bad, especially after they scored when our arses collapsed and if it was any higher calibre team we would've conceded a few more after that such was the desperate nature of our defending.
We were terribly wasteful both in our half and theirs and composure deserted us for vast parts of the game.
Robson showed once again that he doesn't trust his full squad and is very reluctant to change certain players, Shinnie should've been hooked and McKenzie and Duncan were a disaster when he switched to a back four.
Morris can skin a player but his final ball was poor once again and if anything Stirling had better balls into our box than we did into theirs.
Duk still isn't up to speed yet and was caught in possession too many times.
Apart from that though there was positives I guess.
