Or...or...we could support a clearly troubled young man, help him overcome his addiction and become the outstanding player we think/hope he can be.

The gambling addiction in itself shouldn’t effect his football, it’s the crapp that will inevitably come with it, from the press, football fans, and anybody else who thinks they can get to him, and therefore nufc. I’m surprised this didn’t come out when doing our research and “ due diligence” knowing the lengths that we are supposed to go to before signing a player. Bit disappointing but it is what it is I suppose, he needs to feel the love from us fans starting against Palace.
It is a very fair point. But he isn’t a child. He knows the rules and the consequences. I am pulling for him and for us. But after Toney, I fear, if guilty, the punishment handed down will set a a significant precedent. That has an impact on the team. Which is my biggest concern. But he is deserving of support.
