That's what makes me angry wmdave. We were doing well and I agree that Amdouni is a real talent though why he never gets a ball over the top I will never know. It's the pig headed insistence that playing out from the back is ALWAYS better than a long clearance which gives us a 50/50 chance of getting the ball, and a lot closer their goal , such an unessary loss that's for sure. As a whole the team is still short of speed though.Quote:

It's the toothless lack of firepower that's killing us. We should have gone three up top in the last 20 minutes and tried to force an equaliser, even ending up losing 2-0 was worth the risk IMHO.

O'Shea was not completely crap, and like many others in the team has improved. I reckon Ekdal and Beyer will be our pairing going forward.
For me the biggest problem is the lack of a goal scoring forward. Such a shame about Lyle and don't know what is wrong with Obafemi starting as others have mentioned.
I'm assuming it's fitness with Obafemi Dave, he's been out a long while and he doesn't seem to be the soundest of players. He's 23 now but has still only had 41 League starts. I'm not sure he's going to be the answer, looks to me like someone who might need wrapping in cotton wool.Quote:
