Wood scored 4 league goals in his last season, only Ogbene, Hugill and Washington scored more than and they were obviously playing up front, and that was despite barely featuring in the second half of the season. I thought Wood played ok and didn't really let anyone down. I agree that his time was probably up at that level but it was handled badly. Taylor didn't bring him back into the squad despite our massive injury problems until he was literally the last man standing, Taylor was just being stubborn in that respect.

Woody did a lot for the Millers, scoring crucial goals, & being dependent for the club.

During our time at NYS, can't think of a more deserving candidate for a testimonial. If MT would have retained him, even in a non-playing capacity, I'm sure we would have performed better last season. When Wood left, he took leadership with him. Thanks MT!

Was here too long. Warney kept giving him contracts then we ended up with no long term replacement.
