Langstaff Gone to Millwall

If true it doesn't seem like a club where Macca would thrive. Not a nice place, not nice supporters and not a particularly nice club in my view. Could do better.

I think we need more signings ASAP. McDonald, Tsaroulla and Edwards were a little underwhelming after a promising start truth be told. Hopefully the fee will be reinvested because we are still 3/4 quality players short IMO.

What the fans think a player is worth and what football clubs think are completely unrelated. Macca is 27, which is why I think he was never going to go for silly money. I hope we have lots of realistic add-ons in the contract (ie if he scores X number of goals/plays X number of games/if he’s sold on). Good luck to him, he’s earned the chance.

We will definitely need another forward, but I’m hoping a fit Cedwyn can take that role in the team now.

If this is true which now seems likely it's a very poor decision by the club and Langstaff, a terrible nasty little club with awful history and no promise of promotion

Millwall have agreed a deal to sign Notts County striker Macaulay Langstaff and he is undergoing a medical on Saturday, sources have told Football Insider.

The fee has been settled at £700,000 plus add-ons, as the prolific striker finalises medical tests at the London outfit.





Football Insider revealed Millwall had submitted an offer for Langstaff on June 27, and the Championship club have continued pushing to secure the 27-year-old.

Millwall boss Neil Harris is confident that the striker is capable of making the step up from League Two.
