A Notts Reserves programme currently on Heebay v Sunderland with Ally McCoist listed at 9 for Sun'land.
Macc Town Res v Notts Res
February 2001 features Lee Hughes , John Askey and Ricky Lambert in the home side !
A very strong Aston Villa Res side, (including Spink, Ehiogu, Parker and Scimeca era ) v Notts Res programme with the score of 2-0 to Notts on there too !
The match officials were Barry Polkey , G. Fowler and Nigel Prost !
I'm not familiar with Mr.Fowler but Barry was from Clifton and Nigel from Carlton. Wonder if they travelled on the Notts team bus ? 😄
Barry was still running the line, regularly last season in The Uhlsport UCL .
Some really old programmes from the 1950's too including Boston Utd v Notts Res in the old Midland League, Goole Town v Notts, and games at Sutton Town, Grantham Town and a friendly v Basford Utd of the same era.

In the early 1970's I used to go with my dad (& his friends from Plessey) to the reserve games. Tuesday nights, I think it was called the North Midlands League. This was essentially my introduction to Notts County. Incredible nights, really. Seem to remember us being great & we would usually totally thrash the opposition - or perhaps my memory is just getting rosily selective. I definitely remember players like Scanlon & Vintner running riot though.

Remember my dad and grandad taking me to the midweek reserve games when I was a kid back when Chris Pearson the young lad was at the club
