I wouldn't offer Humphreys a new contract he's not a midfield player & not really a league 1 commanding centre back. Odoffin can't see him staying under Evans whose taking us backwards.

It's about time clubs stood upto the players. Why shouldn't we give him a sign or leave ultimatum?
Imo the club is right. We have paid the wages for a long time and it's cost the fans a lot of money. At least they can do it make a decision with what we're offering
Absolutely despicable how they have treated Hakeem. Always puts a good shift in no matter who we're playing. Four promises of a contract and now throwing down an ultimatum to him, although I've not heard of this scenario?, an absolute joke of a club.
Many things to be grateful for but Tony Stewart will never get better at running this club while ever his lap dogs are still in place. This club seriously needs a proper CEO who knows and understands the fundamentals of running a club.
A lot of folk say it's better the devil you know etc re Stewart's tenure but I'm now very disillusioned of how he's let good players leave, and most for nothing by dithering and not being proactive enough to retain them over the past 2/3 seasons.
Sorry pal, didn't read your post until now. Bit stern what you're saying when in fact contract talks had been promised to Hakeem last August, then November, then the New Year but none ever happened, why? Was it the club's fault? Was it Hakeem's refusal to sit down and talk, I doubt it was or, the club would have put him up for sale in the January window.
The club have dragged this issue on for far too long and it serves then right but, at the end of the day it's us the paying fane who suffer as yet another good player looks like leaving because of contract delays......YET AGAIN!
Old Teflon is pissing down our backs and telling us it?s raining and some believe it.
