Money Spent in the Summer 2024 by the Club

I agree ELK, but I can't see it happening.

Would any prospective buyer buy a football club if the stadium wasn?t in the deal , why would they? How much would rufc be worth with limited assets.

My concern is that as TS is getting older his son gets more influential in running the family business and he clearly has no interest in football. So will we be back where we started when TS took over a football club with no assets and no ground?

Forget the transfer window, there is a much bigger concern than that for those that open their eyes.

Just as a follow on with my earlier post I remember Coventry having a similar arrangement regarding renting and I also remember them having to play at Northampton for a season because of some sort of dispute.

I've said on a couple of posts, with it's current liabilities (in the human and financial sense) and with no tangible assets other than having FL membership and being ranked around midway in the EFL league hierarchy, I'm not sure I'd part with even one of my English pounds for RUFC.

On your financial point, the academy costs money and produces nothing and the club has quite a few back room staff that have no direct connection to the on pitch activities.

Maybe cull is needed to divert funds to true on pitch activities?

Unfortunately we also have one member of staff who does have a direct connection to on the pitch activities (but you wouldn't really know it) whose wage would probably pay for 15 of those back room staff.

Grist, i agree with that. Just look in the inside cover of the programme to find out just how many we actually have.......i've thrown it away or i'd count them for you...lol
