My pre match bad juju was justified. Two important players not available, Jones forced off with after being fouled several times, playing OK but no cutting edge, and ref having an absolute shocker.

Morecambe are the dirtiest team we've had at Meadow Lane this season, the ref is awful too, it's disgusting how they're fouling off the ball - I'm not sure if it was mentioned on the radio but one of their players grabbed Jatta by his collar and swung him to the ground and the linesman didn't do anything.

Then their fans cheered Jodi going off injured.

Absolutely disgusting team, their fans deserve what's happening to them with their behaviour today.

That explains his 'display' so far then.

But we can't blame the ref for how bad we've been. We severely lacking ideas or creativity and we're far too slow and ponderous. It'll be games like this that cost us promotion.

How to turn a mouth-watering fixture into a nightmare?

1 - don't play two of your main creative attacking players for 'precautionary' reasons 2 - lose a third to injury after a few mins 3 - pick a stack of players with no track record of producing anything for our team

And another goes back to the summer - Edwards is looking like a really bad signing, just doesn't look up to the level required.

Will this game become comfortable for us after all or will it be 90mins of self-inflicted agony : ) I know what I'd be betting on

What option did SM have id say 99% of fans would pick this team today.

You cant slate SM if two players are injured if he starts them and they pull up it harms us much more longer term.

Granted we are not playing that well but nothing is a given if we grind out a 1-0 its job done but thats a big IF.

But if it was 'precautionary' as said in the commentary, that's taking the opposition lightly and playing fast and loose with a must get 3pts

No it isnt taking them lightly at all there is clearly an issue with them which the medical team have pointed out.

Its a long season you dont risk one of your best players.
