I don't think any of our players go out on a pitch and don't try. They may not be having a good day or they are struggling with the tactics or a injury . Some are possibly just not good enough for us or can't play in the positionsl/role being asked.

I don't think it it too hard to understand, that in most cases buying a player for say £5-10 million and paying them north if £30k a week will lead you to having a better team. That is what Celtic do.

You're not a young loon and I can safely say that you remember Man City before they were bought by the arabs.
You seriously trying to tell me that they could have went on to win countless trophies with the likes of Andy Morrisson, Shaun Goater and Paul Dickov instead of Kompany, Aguero and De Brunye.

I disagree?Devlin doesn?t give his all and that is why he had been benched etc. His desire to defend properly has made him have erratic form this season and obviously doesn?t do enough for training etc to address that problem?.same with them all.
Aberdeen FC are a lazy club of players. They don?t have the ability because they don?t train anywhere near hard enough to be successful.
They are given a wage and that is all they most likely want.
Thelin is another who does nowhere near enough. Look at our set plays and how unimaginative they are. He doesn?t push his players hard enough because he will know he doesn?t push himself hard enough.
Cormack is also a lazy chairman. He has 2 guys who are nowhere near qualified to run things for him because he can?t be @rsed doing it now.

Never quite lazy enough to ever have been relegated or liquidated though.

Maybe we should take a leaf out of Hearts, Hibs, the Dundee clubs, Killie, Motherwell and aim to be as good as they are both on and off the field and watch our trophy count rocket.

Nothing silly about pointing out a good fact.

I couldn?t care less about other teams who are just making up the numbers as well.

Here is another fact for you?Celtic are a team who work very hard. They have a more hard working manager and are much better run than us (and I hate admitting that!! ).

We currently don?t have a harder working team
We don?t currently have a harder working manager
And we don?t have a harder working board (staff) as them.
To sum it up we are failing 3 out of the 3 areas which is disgraceful.

Money doesn?t come into the equation about working hard. It might buy you a harder working player than you have had previously or a manager who can make his team better equipped than the rest because he puts in the correct effort to get what he generally wants (which is success in this country).

If we could just beat them in 1 category it would be a step in the right direction. Don?t let me hear about money resources when we have a super rich board ourselves. It?s plainly just down to a real lack of effort on our clubs part.

I don’t disagree. Still the most hardworking manager in our league. That is why it is sh!t.
The rest of the league clubs have given up big time. All terrified of challenging Celtic long term (a few might in the odd match here and there).

Aberdeen have been probably the most guilty of clubs for not doing enough to improve so we can at least look like we challenge for silverware.

No one will convince me we work anywhere near harder than the rest whilst I watch that dross we normally serve up on match days.

We act like a real diddy team. No ambition to win because as a club we cannot be @rsed putting in the effort required.

The soul and passion for football died long ago at Pittodrie. Everyone is running scared of putting up a challenge.

For what it’s worth…what an absolute embarrassment of a stadium for this day and age. We are even extremely lazy about this situation. Most of us have some great memories of Pittodrie but none of us can say it’s a top class stadium. We fail in that department also.

And for good measure….imagine not having a proper indoor pitch when the training camp got built. That was also lazy architecture and planning which was eagerly accepted by our current chairman.

Aberdeen are miles off being successful. The last few days I have given a few words of advice on how we can move forward. Alan Burrows and Steven Gunn get paid a lot of money for their expertise. What I have said recently is worth more than the two have ever have contributed to the club. Would I want a role at the club…no chance as i don’t put up with lazy people.

On the subject of being lazy, when are you (Red John) going to get off your backside and answer my question I posed you a day or so ago on this thread? Maybe you haven't answered as you realise (as we all have already done) that you don't have a clue what you are talking about?

I really do not think we can question any of them about giving their all week in week out and trying heir best in every game.

I would even go as far back and say Sam Cosgrove and even Darren Mackie gave there all every time they were on the pitch for the dons, but sadly they were just simply sh1te and just by giving their all was just nae good enough to have an impact and would never make them a good player.
We are where we are because Scottish football is well and truly fkd and we can only try to be the best of the rest and maybe (a big fkn maybe) grab the odd league cup now and again and get a decent game or two in europe to create good memories for the best support in scotland.

I disagree, the players, manager and board don?t do anywhere near enough to say they give their all. The good players of this world do a hell of a lot more than our lot (which is abundantly obvious) to keep themselves playing at a far higher standard.

There has been quite a few teams who have won their leagues beating the richest teams in their country so your argument is mute.
It?s all about the effort those good teams make and their willingness to push themselves to glory.
THE LAZY DONS don?t have a hope in hell of winning anything if it involves hard work. We all know they don?t graft properly at Aberdeen FC nowadays.
