Same with me, the treatment I received was first class but I must admit I never paid close attention to the state of the doors on entry! Even though all the best puns have been taken, I'm glad this has evolved into a joke thread. I would guess that the real intention of the OP was that it would become an attack on immigrants who overwhelm the system and NHS staff who don't want to work full time because agency jobs pay better.

More like a day. Seen it with my own eyes over here. Deliveries. Porters don't give 2 fcuks about anything. Bash the doors, walls. Not mine, Govt can pay for it. What the thick ****s don't get is, where does the money come from to maintain these things? Out of their taxes

My comment about first impressions, relates to the state of the main, entry doors on B floor which are disgusting, looks like they haven't been cleaned for years and only half the sliding doors are working. Is this the image that QMC hierarchy are happy for people to be greeted with on arrival, it would seem so. Surely one of their cleaning teams could be tasked with keeping these doors clean at minimal cost?

Another surprise was the lady who came around with bags of food asking 'is anyone here fasting for Ramadan', an interesting initiative from the 'Nottingham council of mosques', I was hungry as this point and very tempted to put my hand up!

The maintenance budget is being spent on QMC keeping it standing rather than looking nice. It needs a rebuild

Throughout the nation infrastructure maintenance and security is at the bottom of the budget list and that is seen for instance in our water supply, roads and rail maintenance, IT systems, schools and the recent issues at Heathrow. But don't worry, Starmer is going to cut millions off more budgets which will make everything better :?
