Really good for hopefully cementing a guaranteed playoff spot soon. Didn?t expect either of those results as the teams below us struggle with consistency like nearly everybody else.
Doncaster v Wimbledon tomorrow.
Given that we still have to play Doncaster, would it be best to be a draw or a win for Wimbledon?
Mind you, if we don't win tonight it will all be irrelevant.
Is there any particular Salford player that we can direct our hostility towards this evening.
Be nice if there was someone to get the "Crowley treatment".
This is why I don?t think it?s a poor league at all. It?s a very competitive and close league this year with not much in it between those at the top and those in mid table. This was said at the start of the season and has transpired to be the case.
We?ve had the early pace setters like Gillingham and Barrow drop right off. We?ve had Walsall fly off in front to come crashing down. Teams are not going on really long unbeaten runs and nobody appears to have tried to buy the division. The likes of MK Dons and Carlisle who may have been contenders at the top have found themselves struggling at the bottom. Those who have come up from the National League have held their own and some.
It?s not been boring and predictable nobody has run away from the others and anybody is beating anyone. It?s made it interesting and there is still all to play for and will be right to the last day.
It?s made it a rich league unlike the boring and predictable leagues you mention.
It certainly was the best atmosphere I've experienced at the lane (from us home fans) for quite some time. The crowd wasn't all that big but the buzz was electric by ML standards and certainly appreciated by the club and the players from their reactions.
We all know why that was, but is there any way to bottle that and recreate it?
