100% Bomber and Patel is not a rich, ruthless and successful businessman for nothing. Patel was at Coventry and the match today and was probably disgusted along with the majority of the supporters and the loss of a 200 million premier prize.

You got to applaud Patel for excellent timing of the sacking when the season is over and to rebuild with a first choice managerial appointment without rush and a hefty rebuild.

I am sure more will now buy season tickets based on this decision as opposed to the odd few returning them 🤭

Really, I think it is a sad day when a good bloke like Tony Mowbray loses his job at The Albion. Getting sacked is not a nice experience, so I do feel sorry for Tony, regardless of his handling of football issues. I certainly wish him well for the future.

Let?s hope the right person is brought in a timely fashion. If we struggle to find that right person and that may be more difficult than we think, as there may be some that will shy away from a club who provides little time for a manager to set about what they wish done and with what appears to be a backdrop of player control and unrest, then we could well be up against it.

I suspect Mr Patel and the board will already have someone lined up. If they have not then we may find ourselves in a situation whereby the summer is passing and we are managerless. That would be a problem, as who will make any decisions on players in and out. We could end up once again with a manager managing players they inherited.

I really hope the above scenario is not what occurs.

As for throwing our four season tickets back at the club. With hindsight, I will hang on to them and perhaps we will just not bother attending. As it happens, this season, due to unforeseen work circumstances and attending a number of games in hospitality, we did not use them that much anyway. So the likelihood is, it will be the same next season.

Completely agree with this. Some of his decisions were baffling.

It's a shame it hasn't worked out, but that's football sometimes.

I'm hoping for a fresh and energetic manager in. The Wicky appointment got me a bit excited, because I knew nothing about him. I don't want a manager who's been around the block at 7-8 clubs, or more.

I think that we all want to see a young head coach with new ideas, enthusiasm and ambition. None of us want the usual names off the managerial merry go round. Let us hope that Mr. Patel is of the same opinion.
