Paul Davis in advertiser today saying 11 to be released think that includes 4 loanies. 5 out of contract Phillips Mcdonald Holmes Green Kayode. 2 of the younger players be other 2. How I see it but could be wrong.

Crikey no wonder Barnsley are in dire financial constraints. Their retained list is the same as our FULL squad last season.

15 also departing plus 3 going back off loan. How did they manage to pay everyone? Also throw in 7 academy players being shown the door. That is an awful lot of players it is akin to reading out the Man City squad.

Sam Cosgrove might be worth looking at - a tall, capable forward might work well with Nombe up front?

Players in contract such as Hugill & JCH can't be released. Can be made available to be moved on. Holmes like Kayode haven't shown enough to be retained.

RU66 I along with most of the others on this site have a problem with you in that you often fail to read a post before replying and saying something that wasn’t there in the first place. I never said that Hugill and JCH could be released, I said they could be made available.i do understand the difference!

I like the look of him but don’t you think Stockport will want him back if they don’t get promoted? Doubt he wouldn’t be wanted if they go up.
